Training Programs - overview
Preface

The training programs and workshops we conduct , purposefully aim to influence the Thinking Process of the participants ( Executives , Staff etc. ) rather than their Emotional Process so as to first bring about attitudinal change and subsequent behavioural changes of employees - that are not only essential to cope with the changing environment but to also take a commercial enterprise to higher levels of growth and prosperity.

It is our firm belief that ; for training programs to be effective, the form of facilitation to be adopted must emphasize Reflective Thinking that is essential for triggering attitudinal changes in the short term and behavioral changes in the long term – through refresher training programs. Fun-filled activity based learning tend to give greater emphasis to  form  rather than substance and the risk of adopting this form of facilitation is that it can distract the Learner and lower the internalizing of concepts that subsequently bring about Attitudinal and Behavioural Changes. To engage in effective Reflective Thinking a participant’s mind should not be excited or distracted with fun-filled activities. However, if an “activity” can convey a learning point it can be adopted provided it is conducted in such a way that the learner gets the message ( learning point ) and doesn’t  miss it as his / her mind was distracted by the fun-filled activity.

Participants generally like "fun-filled activity" as it is enjoyable and disengages the mind from "Constructive / Reflective Thinking" which is a slow and difficult task and yet the essence of effective learning and the trigger for subsequent behavioural change. However, what the participants feel is good for themselves needn't be cost-effective for the organization.

We believe that training programs must be made interesting to overcome dullness ( our faculty will provide new knowledge in an interesting manner using multimedia teaching aids where necessary ) , must be participative ( experience sharing, group discussions and case study methodology will be followed ) and it must encourage "Reflective Thinking" - that is essential for triggering attitudinal and behavioral changes. Furthermore, our faculty also take special care to make their facilitation process is"culture sensitive" as they believe that Indians unlike Westerners are a highly heterogeneous group with different cultural affinities and their sensitivities must be taken into account otherwise many of those attending the training program are likely to be offended  ordistracted and this could adversely affect the objective of the training program that is meant to bring about desirable behavioral improvements that subsequently ( through refresher programs ) lead to behavioural changes - essential to cope with the changing environment.

A question that seems to bother many in the higher echelons of Management, when they decide to engage a faculty to conduct a training program for their Executives or Staff is very often the following :

"Why is it that employees who undergo behavioral training and appear to be 'motivated' for a few days after the training program, are unable to sustain the "motivation" for a longer period of time ? ".

We have provided answers to this question and many more similar questions on the "FAQs Page" of this website. To know more about this concept, please click on the FAQs button on the top left margin of this page .

BE A TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADER TO BE AN EFFECTIVE MANAGER

  • Ideal for : Senior Managers
  • Medium : Exclusively in English
  • Methodology : Multimedia aided and Participative
  • Intellectual Content : High ( Topics & Time Schedule will be provided on request )
  • Faculty : Mr. M. Anilkumar & Prof. R.K Vijayakrishnan

The professional profile of the faculty is given on the ‘About Us” page of this website .)

SYNOPSIS : The need for Senior Managers of commercial enterprises, to perform like Transformational Leaders and not like quintessential Managers has today acquired a sense of urgency for more than one reason. In other words, keeping in mind today's competitive environment, Senior Managers have to develop the competency to perform in an "Inspirational Role" rather than a "Transactional Role" if they are to enhance the competitive strength of their company. While mid-level managers and junior managers can afford to perform the dual role of a Leader-Manager, that is, dovetail the "Inspirational Role" and the "Transactional Role" , Senior Managers have to exclusively devote their time and energy on performing the "Inspirational Role", that is, inspiring their subordinates who are most likely to be mid-level managers and junior managers, to meet the challenges faced by the company. Motivating new generation subordinates ( whose expectations are generally high ) and facilitating team work is today the key responsibility of Senior Managers and this can best be done when they devote their time and energy exclusively to performing like a Transformational Leader and nothing less.

The twin organizational advantages of inspiring Senior Managers to perform like Transformational Leaders

A senior manager who adopts the role of a Transformational Leader, will in today's circumstances, be more effective in building the Intellectual Capital of the company by developing and retaining talented subordinates for serving the Company and especially so in retaining new generation managers at the middle and junior levels who have higher levels of expectations, that is, they expect their Senior Managers to be inspiring, open to suggestions , supportive, and encouraging. Hence, senior managers who develop Leadership Skills with a high Emotional Quotient, can thus increase the Intellectual Capital and enhance the competitive strength of their Company by being more effective in motivating, developing and retaining talented mid-level managers and junior managers.

Note : One of the reasons why 'new generation managers' , especially the talented ones, tend to change their jobs frequently is often due to the low "emotional risk" they run on leaving a company - primarily because their Senior Managers have not invested their time in emotionally bonding with them. The "Offer" a talented junior manager gets from a competitor could be one of the causes of his leaving the Company but what finally makes him to decide on tendering his resignation is the low "emotional risk" he runs on leaving. Hence, persuading Senior Managers to perform more like Transformational Leaders who inspire and emotionally bond with their mid-level and junior level managers will certainly help to retain talented employees and also reduce recruitment costs . )

A senior manager who adopts the role of a Transformational Leader will also be more effective in motivating middle level and junior managers to work beyond their roster of duties – a skill that is becoming critical to survive and grow in an increasingly competitive economy that is frequently racked by uncertainty.

Note : In today's competitive environment, there are many a times when a Senior Manager has to motivate his or her subordinates to voluntarily work beyond the roster of duties assigned to them and to do so with the limited resources available, in order to overcome sudden and unexpected challenges posed by competitors or a change in the environment ( sudden economic downturn or a recession ). In such situations, if a Senior Manager has to b effective in motivating his / her subordinates to work beyond their roster of duties and achieve expected results, then his role as a Manager has to evolve into the role of a Transformational Leader and nothing less. )

BE A TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADER TO BE AN EFFECTIVE ENGINEER

  • Ideal for : Engineers & Project  Managers
  • Medium : Exclusively in English
  • Methodology : Multimedia aided and Participative
  • Intellectual Content : High ( Topics & Time Schedule will be provided on request )
  • Faculty : Mr. M. Anilkumar & Mr. Sagar. P ( PMP Certified Corporate Trainer ) - The professional profile of the faculty is given on the ‘About Us” page of this website .

SYNOPSIS:If Engineers and Project Managers ( at any level ) who are entrusted with the execution of a Project or part of the project , perform like  Leaders rather than quintessential Managers, they will be more effective in the time bound execution of a project. The premises on which this thesis is based is as follows ; the successful completion of a project depends primarily on two critical factors, that is, the technical skills ( the knowledge of Engineering, Project Management etc. ) and the behavioral skills of the  Managers / Engineers who execute the project. Stated in brief;unless Engineers and Project Managers perform like Leaders they will, inspite of being technically qualified,  find it difficult to motivate the present day subordinates (whose expectations are higher ) to work as a Team and  effectively execute the project with minimum wastages – time , material and money. Hence, if Project Managers & Engineers  can be inspired to develop “Leadership Skills”, an organization will gain primarily in two ways.

The twin organizational advantages of inspiring Engineers to perform like Transformational Leaders

An Engineer or Project Manager who adopts the role of a Transformational Leader, will in today's circumstances, be more effective in building the "Intellectual Capital" of the company by developing and retaining talented subordinates for serving the Company and especially so in retaining new generation managers and supervisors at the middle and junior levels who have higher levels of expectations, that is, they expect their Project Managers & Engineers to be inspiring, open to suggestions , supportive, and encouraging. Hence, engineers and project managers who develop Leadership Skills with a high Emotional Quotient, can thus increase the Intellectual Capital and enhance the competitive strength of their Company by being more effective in motivating, developing and retaining talented middle and junior level engineers and managers.

An engineer or project manager who adopts the role of a Transformational Leader will also be more effective in motivating middle level and junior engineers to work beyond their roster of duties – a skill that is becoming critical to survive and grow in an increasingly competitive economy that is frequently racked by uncertainty.

THE LEADER MANAGER – KEY TO INCREASING COMPETITIVENESS

  • Ideal for : Junior Managers, Officers & Team Leaders
  • Medium : Exclusively in English
  • Methodology : Multimedia aided and Participative
  • Intellectual Content : : Moderate (Topics & Time Schedule will be provided on request )
  • Faculty : Mr. M. Anilkumar ( The professional profile of the faculty is given on the ‘About Us” page of this website .)

Most managers are generally comfortable in performing their "Transactional Role" but "New Generation Employees" (whose expectations are high ) unlike the "Old Generation Employees" get easily de-motivated when managers continue to remain in their transactional role and this adversely affects the productivity and profitability of the organization. The causes of the increase in the attrition rate of employees in most commercial organizations is now being attributed to the new generation employee's dislike for "authority" and their need to be "inspired " to give their best to the organization – a role that Leaders are best at. Hence, if junior managers and officers can be inspired to develop "Leadership Skills" and perform like "Leader-Managers" an organization will gain primarily in two ways.

The twin organizational advantages of inspiring Junior Managers to perform like Leader- Managers

MOTIVATION & TEAM TRAINING
( FOR EXECUTIVES & STAFF )

  • Ideal for : All members of any commercial enterprise – including Directors, Managers and Senior Staff who can remain as observers while others actively participate.
  • Medium : English or Malayalam
  • Methodology : Multimedia aided & Participative .
  • Intellectual Content : Moderate (Topics & Time Schedule provided on request )
  • Program Design ( Option – 1 ) : Designed to be a multimedia aided educational program that also inspires young and old employees, to engage in formal learning and become “Continuous Learners”. ( Lessons on Positive Thinking for increasing motivation, effective learning for problem solving & eliminating repetitive mistakes, personality development and team work etc. is covered )
  • Program Design ( Option – 2 ) : Designed to be a multimedia aided educational as well as an entertainment program with quiz, role plays , games that are educative and entertaining – with gifts, travel vouchers etc. given to top scorers . This program also inspires young and old employees, to become more motivated and engage in genuine team work. It also inspires participants to become “Continuous Learners”.. Ideally this program must be conducted at a scenic resort .
( Option-2 is as effective as Option-1 but a bit more expensive. However, employees who feel that their Management goes out of the way to treat them well and is also interested in investing in their personality development, will become good will ambassadors who promote “Employer Branding” that attracts and retains talents – necessary for increasing competitiveness, growth and prosperity . )
Participant’s Feedback : “ Our management gave us a choice between a one day staff picnic that is conducted once every year and a one day motivational team training program at Punnmada Resort. This year 26 of us chose to participate in this one day motivation & team training program. I now feel that, I should have attended this interesting program much earlier as it has convinced me that; overcoming my ego to work as a team can help me in my professional and family life”
  • Secondary Objective of Program : : Primary objective of the program is to overcome the reluctance of employees – young and old, to engage in formal learning and inspire them to become “Continuous Learners”. Work related mistakes are often repeated and interppersonal problems remain unresolved making team work difficult when most employees are not open to learnig and reluctant to change. Since our educational system has not equipped students / employees to be open to “creative learning” the need to do so is all the more urgent for the survival and growth of commercial enterprises in this era of continuous change and frequent uncertainty .
  • Intellectual Content : Moderate (Topics & Time Schedule provided on request )
  • Faculty :Mr. M. Anilkumar  / Mrs. Rani Anilkumar - The professional profile of the faculty is given on the ‘About Us” page of this website .

SYNOPSIS : The collective Knowledge & Skill of employees is today considered the sum total of any commercial enterprise’s “Intellectual Capital” and thus its competitive strength, irrespective of whether its core activity is retailing, services or manufacturing. Hence, motivating employees, irrespective of their designation, to become “Continuous Learners” and to work as a team ( overcoming ego hassles ) has become essential. ( How, even the agriculture sector in India is integrating into the evolving “Knowledge Economy” and making “Continuous Learning” critical for survival and growth of small, medium and big commercial enterprises. will be explained with multimedia teaching aids during the said program ) Most employees are effective with their technical skills but what lowers their effectiveness is their under-developed motivational and behavioural skills as our educational system has not properly equipped them with the same .

To get employees, irrespective of their designation, to open up to formal learning and adapt to change is never easy as our educational system has not equipped them to do so. It is just five years ago that CBSE switched over from the MOTS methodology ( More Of The Same or Rote Learning methodology ) to HOTS ( Higher Order Of Thinking Skills ) methodology of learning and the beneficiaries ( students ) of this new method of learning are yet to become employees of commercial enterprises in India. In other words commercial enterprises in India, irrespective of whether they are Small , Medium or Big are home to employees of the old school of learning and this is reflected in the sluggish growth of our companies, especially at a time when openess to learning and change are today critical for surviival and growth of commerical enterprises irrespective of whether their core activity is retailing, services or manufacturing. It is keeping these facts in mind that we have designed the program ; “Motivation & Team Training For Executives & Staff ”

One of the participants who attended our Motivation & Team Training Program said; “ Our management gave us a choice between a one day staff picnic that is conducted once every year and a one day motivational team training program at a resort This year 26 of us chose to participate in this one day motivation & team training program.. I now feel that I should have attended this interesting program much earlier as it has convinced me that by learning to overcome my ego to work as a team will help me in my professional and family life”. It is more or less similar kind of feedbacks that leads us to believe that; if the said program is conducted for your Executives and Staff it will not only earn you their good will but will also improve motivation & team work of your subordinates / employees.

Scope For Behavioural Changes : There is no doubt that the Motivation & Team Training Program will bring about an “Attitudinal Change” in most of the participants as the concepts presented in the program are powerful eye openers. However, to bring about “Behavioral Changes” that inturn  brings about genuine improvement in their Motivation and Team Work , the same participants must be encouraged to attend refresher programs .

THE REASON WHY ‘FORMAL TEAM TRAINING’ IS ESSENTIAL TO IMPROVE TEAM WORK IN COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES

That team work amongst employees can increase productivity and profitability of commercial enterprises is a well known fact. However, the challenge is to get employees to overcome their individualistic tendencies and work as a team in the larger interest of the enterprise . This is easier said than dome, primarily because employees have from their school days unintentionally acquired wrong habits ( individualistic / self-centric behaviour ) that makes it difficult for them to work as a genuine team. Hence, unless and until employees are trained to unlearn their old habits that discourage team work and acquire new ones that promote genuine team work, increasing the productivity and profitability of commercial enterprises to its full potential will remain a distant dream.
As the Indian economy gradually evolves into the Knowledge Economy where the knowledge of production, manufacturing processes, markets, suppliers, customers etc. is increasingly becoming the competitive strength of a commercial enterprise, team work will become even more important . In a knowledge economy the collective Knowledge & Skill of employees is considered the sum total of a commercial enterprise’s Intellectual Capital, irrespective of whether its core activity is retailing, services or manufacturing. Hence, motivating and inspiring employees, irrespective of their designation, to become Continuous Learners and to work as a team ( overcoming individualistic tendencies and ego hassles ) has become essential ( How, even the agriculture sector in India is integrating into the evolving Knowledge Economy and making “Continuous Learning” critical for survival and growth of small, medium and big commercial enterprises. will be explained with multimedia teaching aids during the team training program ) Most employees are effective with their technical skills but what lowers their effectiveness is their under-developed motivational and behavioural skills that facilitate genuine team work as our educational system has not properly equipped them with the same. In other words, The highly competitive nature of our school - college examination system has unintentionally made most employees ( formerly students ) basically individualistic and some of them self-centric – irrespective of which sector they work in. Most Executives and Staff thus find it difficult to engage in genuine team work ( i.e. to genuinely care & share - with their colleagues , subordinates etc. ) due to the wrong habits ( individualistic / self-centric behaviour ) that they have unintentionally acquired during their long course of study in various educational institutions. This is why formal team training becomes essential – to make employees unlearn and subsequently eliminate damaging work habits that lower a commercial enterprise’s productivity and profitability, especially in a scenario where team work is critical to pool the Knowledge & Skill of employees to build its intellectual capital and enhance its competitive strength.
Though the education system can afford to be complacent about the unintentional consequences of its actions due to the lack of a better alternative, private enterprises cannot afford to do so as the losses incurred due to ineffective team work has to be borne privately. Keeping in mind the gravity of the situation and being aware that outcomes of formal training programs are not guaranteed, it is far better to engage employees in formal team training than making no attempt at all – which in fact runs the risk of shrinking productivity and profitability .
. To stay ahead of the competition always do the right things that most of your competitors don’t do or hesitate to do. Invest systematically in building a Team Centric Work Culture through the formal training & learning process . A few years from now you will be glad you did.
“Team Centric Work Culture” facilitates “Employer Branding” : Though the task is very challenging, developing a genuine Team centric work culture in any organization, can have tremendous advantages in increasing efficiency / productivity, reducing wastage, improving customer service etc. and thereby increasing its profitability. Furthermore, a genuine Team Work centric work culture also enhances the ability of any Company / Firm / Institution to attract and retain talented employees . At a time when there is a shortage of talent, branding one’s company as a place with an attractive work culture assumes importance and the best way to achieve it is to develop a genuine Team Work centric work culture . The challenge therefore is to get employees / staff to work as a genuine team and not as one that pretend it is engaged in team work . We are aware that; building a team centric work culture will take a fairly long time, but the advantages of even attempting to build a team centered work culture is far greater than making no attempt at all . The team training programs that we have conducted for our clients have proved this beyond doubt .
One of the participants who attended our Motivation & Team Training Program said; “I should have attended this interesting program much earlier as it has convinced me that by learning to overcome my ego to work as a team will help me in my professional and family life”. It is more or less similar kind of feedbacks that leads us to believe that; if your Executives and Staff undergo a Team Training Program facilitated by our experienced faculty, it will not only earn you their good will but will also improve motivation & team work of your subordinates / employees.

CUSTOMER ORIENTATION TRAINING

  • Ideal for : Sales & Frontline Staff
  • Medium : Exclusively in Malayalam
  • Methodology : Multimedia aided & Participative
  • Intellectual Content : Moderate (Topics & Time Schedule provided on request )
  • Faculty : Mr. M. Anilkumar ( Our Founder Director )

SYNOPSIS : In a retail environment it is the sales & frontline staff with whom customers interact the most . Very often it is the courteous and helpful behaviour of the sales & frontline staff that bring customers back for repeat purchases and discourteous behaviour that makes them reduce their purchases and at times decide on “never coming back”. If the sales & frontline staff can be oriented to consider customers as the one’s who not only pay their salary but also give them the opportunity for genuine personality development, then frontline staff will not only be happy to serve friendly customers but will also be willing to consider demanding customers as opportunities rather than problems.
Improving the behavior of sales & frontline staff towards customers can itself increase the “value” of your products and services, without increasing costs and thus be the source of delighted customers and must therefore be considered with the priority it deserves . Delighting Customers is easier said than done and this is why most commercial enterprises find it extremely challenging to do so. Our experience leads us to believe that if employees are presented with a compelling logic on the professional and personal ( personality development ) advantages of delighting customers , most of the employees will make an attitudinal change in favour of delighting customers and will subsequently make the behavioural changes that truly facilitates it and gets reflected in the higher number of repeat customers .
Just as the behaviour of the sales staff of a retail outlet is instrumental in winning and retaining customers , in hospitals it is the nurses and para-medical staff who interact directly and more frequently with patients and demanding patient parties and thus become the deciding factor on how the hospital is perceived by the public . Hence, orienting Sales & Frontline Staff working in retail shops, hospitals, hotels, building industry etc. to consider customers as the one’s who actually pay their salary and also provide opportunities for their personality development, can make a considerable difference to the service they provide and thus increase productivity and profitability of such enterprises.

  • Methodology : Multimedia aided & Participative
  • Intellectual Content : Moderate (Topics & Time Schedule provided on request )
  • Faculty : Mr. M. Anilkumar ( The professional profile of the faculty is given on the ‘About Us” page of this website ).

No matter how qualified your Executives , it is their attitude that will determine how competitive and therefore how successful your organization will be. At a time when mental stress is blamed for causing psychosomatic diseases, a new concept needs to be explained to Executives by which they can develop a genuinely positive attitude to competition that enables them to compete whole heartedly without becoming victims of stress related diseases.
This program gives a lot of emphasis to Reflective Thinking – that is essential for triggering attitudinal and behavioural changes. More details on the said hypothesis will be provided when asked to submit our proposal for conducting the said program.
Scope For Behavioural Changes : There is no doubt that the Attitude Determines Altitude Program will bring about an Attitudinal Change in most of the participants as the concepts presented in the program are powerful eye openers. However, to bring about Behavioral Changes that in turn brings about genuine improvement in the way Executives perform to achieve excellence, the same participants must be encouraged to attend refresher programs .

#Our Training Programs are Motivating & Inspiring as it is our belief that; no matter how well educated an employee happens to be or how strong his technical skills, what finally matters is his or her motivation to apply what s/he knows and also what s/he learns on the job. Hence, inspiring employees to motivate themselves to give their best to the enterprise they serve can thus increase its productivity and profitability and therefore it is our duty as " Corporate Trainers " to do so once we are engaged by the management with the ultimate objective of increasing organizational productivity and profitability.

#Our Training Programs are Culture sensitive as it is our belief that; employees who undergo training under the responsibility of our faculty must feel absolutely comfortable while undergoing the program or else they will switch off the learning process. For example; in the Western context an elderly employee ( participant ) may be directly addressed by his first name while in our case keeping the cultural context in mind an elderly participant will not be address directly by his name and instead be addressed as Shri. / Smt. or Mr./ Mrs. . …………. by our faculty. Similarly humor that is gender sensitive or examples in which women are shown in a weak position will not be made by our faculty.

#Our Training Programs are Interesting & Participative With Greater Focus On Learning And Less On Fun as it is our belief that; Employees whose mind get excited by participating in fun filled training programs cannot effectively engage in Reflective Thinking – that is essential for triggering attitudinal and behavioural changes. Hence, even though participants generally enjoy fun filled training programs, if the objective of conducting a training program or workshop is to bring about attitudinal and subsequent behavioural changes then do not opt for a fun filled training program. Choose a training program that is interesting and has the ability to hold the attention of the participants by providing interesting information, quiz, group discussions, case studies, examples etc. that stimulate Reflective Thinking . However, if you are keen that the training program should be fun filled as the objective of the program is to be both learning as well as entertainment so as to make learning more palatable , please inform us and we will design the training program accordingly though it must be borne in mind that such programs will not be able to bring about behavioural changes

We do admit that most training programs conducted for the associates of multi-level marketing companies is fun filled and participants seem to enjoy it. Here the objective of the training program is to excite the associates about the incentives being offered and since the associates have short term objectives this approach works fairly well. However, in the case of business enterprises with long term objectives that need to focus more on team work and less on individual achievements – that create jealousy and discord, the training methodology must encourage the participants to engage in "Reflective Thinking" – that triggers attitudinal and subsequent behavioural changes

To read the answers to the two questions given below , please visit our FAQs page. The FAQs button is given on the top left margin of this web page.

Q01. Why is it that employees who undergo behavioral training and appear to be 'motivated' for a few days after the training program, are unable to sustain the "motivation" for a longer period of time ?

Q02. Do you mean that 'fun filled' and 'exciting' training programs adversely affect the participant's learning curve ?

Synopsis of Programs with Socio-economic Objectives
For Whom   The various donation centric training programs mentioned below have a dual objective, that is, they first and foremost enable companies to become more productive & profitable to contribute to economic growth that is necessary for social improvement. Secondly, they also motivate the participants directly, to become more positive and caring members of society – who take personal responsibility for social improvement and to strengthen the basic principles of 'Corporate Social Responsibility '
Why   Mr. M. Anilkumar, our Founder Director who has conceptualized these programs, believes that 'Corporate Social Responsibility ' can also be fulfilled while making companies more productive & profitable.
Medium   English or Malayalam.
Methodology   Video & internet aided presentation to enhance 'experiential learning'. Case Study, Group Discussion and Role Play are the other forms of interactive & participative learning that makes the learning process interesting and effective – factors often mentioned by participants while giving their feedback.
Duration   Full Day ( 9.30am to 4.30pm ).
Strength of the participants   25 to 30 – to easily facilitate voluntary & participative learning.
Fees   The said training program also has social objectives and a part of the income generated is donated to social welfare organizations. Hence, we do not charge a "Program Fee" as such. The sponsor ( Management ) can make a donation that is deemed appropriate , that too after taking 'feedback' from participants at the end of the program .

PROGRAM 1 – IN A NUTSHELL
HYPOTHESIS

Lack of genuine Team Work adversely affects customer service / retention, increases wastage, lowers productivity etc. and thereby reduces profitability of any commercial organization or institution is a well known fact. The challenge therefore is to get employees / staff to work as a genuine team and not as one that pretend it is engaged in team work . Our experience leads us to believe that if employees are presented with a compelling logic on the professional and personal ( health ) advantages of team work , most of the employees will make an attitudinal change in favour of genuine team work and will subsequently make the behavioural changes that truly facilitate genuine team work and helps increase customer retention, reduce wastages etc. .

WHY FORMAL TRAINING ON 'TEAM WORK' IS ESSENTIAL

The reason why formal 'Team Training' training is essential, is primarily because our school – college education is so structured that ; most students become increasingly self-centric during their course of study. This happens basically due to the highly competitive nature of the scoring / grading system. Many of these students who later join the corporate sector, find it difficult to engage in genuine team work ( i.e., to care & share ) after they start working, due to this wrong habit ( self centricity ) that they have picked up during their long course of study in various educational institutions. This is why formal training becomes essential - to make them unlearn and subsequently eleminate such habits that damage or lower an organisation's productivity and profitability.

This video & internet aided one day training program, that we conduct, will prove to your staff / employees, beyond doubt, the health benefits of working as a team. The compelling logic that this program presents in favour of genuine team work will gradually bring about genuine attitudinal changes in most participants and through refresher programs behavioral changes will take place sooner than later . This is a unique aspect of this program. Furthermore, if your Executives & Staff become more service minded citizens and also more caring / humane in their behavior, you will have contributed to social improvement thus discharging your Corporate Social Responsibility in a rather unique way

HOW TEAM WORK HELPS REDUCE MEDICAL EXPENSES

Insights from research in the field of Mind – Body – Medicine and Psychoneuroimmunology, indicates that ; when people develop a Positive Attitude, become more service minded, and genuinely team work oriented ( genuine and sincere in their caring & sharing ) they can influence their immune system more effectively and thus enjoy better health and reduce their medical expenses.

PROGRAM 1 - IN DETAIL
Name of the workshop

' HEALTH BENEFITS OF TEAM WORK '

Note : The caption of the newspaper or magazine advertisement you saw read ; 'By Working as a Team your Staff can improve their Health and Reduce Medical Expenses'. This concept is clearly explained, during the course of a one day training program titled 'HEALTH BENEFITS OF TEAM WORK '.

Insight   Unfortunately, our school & college education is so structured that, most students becomes increasingly self-centric during their course of study . This happens basically due to the highly competitive nature of the scoring / grading system. Many of these students thus finds it difficult to engage in genuine team work ( i.e., to care & share ) after they starts working in an organization. Lack of Team Work adversely affects productivity and customer service and needs to be corrected to increase competitiveness. Hence, it is essential that staff / employees are given formal training to work as a team otherwise they will remain self-centric and pretend to be team players.. This workshop will prove to your staff, beyond doubt, the health benefits of working as a team. The compelling logic that this program presents in favour of genuine team work will bring about genuine attitudinal changes in most participants. This is a unique aspect of this workshop . Furthermore, if your Executives & Staff become more service minded and also more caring in their behavior, you will have contributed to social improvement thus discharging your Corporate Social Responsibility in a rather unique way . Note : Through timely refresher programs attitudinal changes brought about by this program will gradually bring about behavioral change for effective Team Work.
How Companies benefit   This program while aiming to help employees to improve their health by harmonizing their "thought pattern", will also help to improve the Company's / Firm's work culture. How genuine Team Work ( Genuine Caring & Sharing ) and Service Mindedness also increases the Competitiveness of the company is explained during the course of the workshop.
How Employees benefit   This program will give insights to employees on why and how "Prevention is better than cure" based on insights drawn from the field of Mind-Body-Medicine and Psychoneuroimmunology on harmonizing one's thought process to prevent BP, sleeplessness, heart diseases etc. The faculty will demonstrate, the ease with which 'thought harmonization' to care and share can be practiced on a day to day basis at the place one works, while interacting with colleagues, subordinates etc. and thus gain personal ( health ) benefits. The flip side of the workshop's key theme is also explained to the employees , that is, by not being a genuine team player who cares and shares with his / her colleagues etc., one often loses opportunities to improve one's health and also has to meet higher medical expenses - sooner or later. Note : If employees can attend the workshop along with their spouses their families will also benefit . .
How society benefits from the workshop - in various other ways ( Apart from improving the health of employees & work culture of companies )   As mentioned above, if your Executives & Staff become more service minded and also more caring in their behavior, you will have contributed to social improvement thus discharging your Corporate Social Responsibility in a unique way While creating awareness about the activities of social welfare organizations such as CRY, Helpage India etc., a part of the sponsorship fee will also be used by the faculty for supporting them financially. A sponsor can hence choose to donate an amount that is deemed 'appropriate'. However, it is hoped that sponsors who can afford to be generous with their donation will not hesitate to make a generous contribution keeping in mind the overall objective of the workshop. Sponsors are not expected to pay an "advance" and need make their contributions after the end of the program and that too, only after judging the benefits the company receives from the workshop – that can be deduced from the open or anonymous feedback of the participants. Note : Receipts will be issued for payments made to us . Furthermore, no money is collected on behalf of any social welfare organization, though the faculty make donations in their individual capacity .

PROGRAM 2 – IN A NUTSHELL
HYPOTHESIS

In today's competitive economic environment, where customers have a wide range of choice, satisfying customer is no more enough. If your company or firm wants to stay ahead of the competition and grow, it must go all out to delight customers, that is, give customers a 'value' greater than their expectations. In other words, while your competitors are trying to give customers a value they except and satisfy them, if your company can give customers a value greater than their expectations, customers will certainly be more inclined to patronize your products and services. Kindly note; improving the behavior of your staff in sales / service towards customers can itself increase the value of your products and services, without increasing costs. Delighting Customers is easier said than done and this is why most commercial organizations find it extremely challenging to do so. Our experience leads us to believe that if employees are presented with a compelling logic on the professional and personal ( health ) advantages of delighting customers , most of the employees will make an attitudinal change in favour of delighting customers and will subsequently make the behavioural changes that truly facilitates it and is reflected in higher levels of customer .
